“Whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”

I had a really real dream that reminded me of one situation, of eye-opening realities that I can now say I was rescued from. Won’t share the details because they don’t matter here. The dream made new situations play out with old characters. Whew. I woke up more educated and justified for what I personally had done to get out of that situation, but knowing that God made it obvious. Wow. Yikes but also a simple WHEW! – better to know than not know – in such obviousness now of “I told you so” to myself, that I could now say to myself: ‘LORD, THANK YOU!’. Yes, the dream reminded me that GOD INTERVENED – He made a resolution, deprived me of something to instead get to somewhere and something better, where God made it obvious, a “God went ahead of me before I even knew where I was going”. Yes – surely you can remember a time that God did this for you too. 

Honestly that happens endless times. Relieved, God keeps us out of XYZ, because you know He rescues us SO MUCH. My dream reminded me of Him pulling us back to safe. Conviction CLEAR, but next development not repealed but Rescinded. 

Rescinded, our potential future failures and ‘due processing’ of our missteps is Rescinded. Not only rescued from pitfalls we didn’t see but from those we DID, rescued and sentences reversed. Not Repealed because it was really us that did the stuff – but rescinded. Whew.

Sin is like that, stuff we know, stuff we don’t. Bad choices, cliff edges, and simple oops. No temptation is uncommon, but God gives you a way out. There are irreversible consequences, yes, there are also new days to go forward again. Every day is a new day.

Rescinded. Our salvation is Jesus rescinding a guilty sin and death sentence that we already had from Adam and Eve then piled on top of it with present sin. No one is immune, no goodie two-shoes don’t still have sin stuck like gum under them. We all have to apply for rescinding but not by paperwork but apply a Plea of GUILTY, I AM HUMAN, and PLEASE FORGIVE ME. We who know better, we must believe in Jesus as the power to save. We must awake to know we are not going to get ourselves out of that jam, by ourselves. Jesus does not judge the depth of jam, He just washes it all clean.

You can’t be taken out of Jesus’s Hand. Once saved, SAVED. Holy Spirit conviction will remind us of Jesus’s request to follow Him. Be less worldly and move His Way.

A friend reminded me the other day of how faithful God has been to me on a particular situation, oh yeah how could I forget?! I didn’t forget, but have been lax to praise that.  So both salvation and situational blessings. 

Rescind and Live forever:  His command is everlasting life.

Let’s start this day in a THANKFUL Way.  THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR WARNING, WAY, WORD-over-world-RESCUE, LIGHT AND LOVE.
