If You Don’t Believe in Jesus…

Standard

If you don’t believe in Jesus, you are not alone.  But we do end – one way – in death – and I pray you know ABUNDANT LIFE in Jesus. Please read a revealing truth about Jesus – that people know Him THROUGH His Spirit – sometimes before they know His name. We recognize Jesus when we are ready to open up our Spiritual Hearts to Him. God does the revealing – and God through us does the Praising.

Think of how John the Baptist had to ask Jesus if He really was the Messiah, this must have meant there really is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between God and man. HUGE.

Remember John the Baptist was Jesus’s cousin and lept in his mother’s womb at the presence of Jesus in Mary’s womb. The Holy Spirit recognition. Then both were born worldly ‘born of woman’ and a worldly familiarity took over John’s view. And they probably did see each other, 2nd cousins, or at least heard of each other, and we don’t know what was discussed between them or cousin moms after birth, if anything, but Elizabeth and Mary knew both children in their wombs were God’s Chosen and had God-work to do.

John didn’t recognize the Savior in Jesus as matching all that He thought a Messiah King would be, so imagine the difficulty people, of the time and now, who never met Him personally would have. Never met Him until He introduced Himself into them, into us. He is knocking on our doors for us to open ourselves to His Glory.

So if you are a doubter of God, of Jesus, of God’s Word being Jesus, and of the law and prophecies being fulfilled by Jesus, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! The recognition of a human masks Spirit because of the fall of Adam and Eve. The recognition of the Spirit comes by Way of Spirit within us, so we must set aside our human distractions of “this is the way God is”, like John the Baptist did. We also must remember (like John the Baptist) that we are NOT abandoned by God when our faith and truth scares other people, nor are we abandoned when we are locked in prisons of self, or in a feeling of punishment we maybe don’t deserve. We are never abandoned by God – simply reach out to Him always. We simply roughly and humanly must get through this life in a broken world that won’t want to open up to this divine awakening. That doesn’t mean we can’t be open to it.

Therefore let us be open to the Divine view, be open and questioning and inspired and ready. Ready to see Jesus through all the human layers. Jesus himself said that even the lowest member of the Kingdom in Heaven is endlessly above the highest of humans – meaning God is God and we are not – but always we should be reaching towards Him. We can’t do anything without God. We should bear HIS good fruit.

We can appreciate that God’s Ways are above our human ways. His Mercy shows in His healing Grace.

John the Baptist speaking about Jesus (now understanding whom He is – both humanly and divinely): “He who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.  He who believes in the Son has everlasting lifeand he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” from the gospel of (yet another cousin) John 3:32-36

So, if you don’t believe in Jesus – and want to know Him more and more – start to ask Him Himself to reveal Him to you. Jesus loves knowing you – Love to know Him. We all are reaching up to His Holiness, Glory, and Grace.

AMEN AMEN AMEN

Jesus told John and the crowds:

The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.”

Here are more passages about John the Baptist, Chosen by God to be a prophet, like the “Elijah of the day”.

See all Luke 1 – in the womb recognition:

Mark 1 – Luke 3 – John prepares the Way for Jesus:

And

John doubts Jesus while in prison and Jesus speaks of heaven and earth: Matthew 11:1-14:

Jesus keeps working even after hearing of John being beheaded by Herod – Matthew 14:
