So many things I think of where I could be snide. 

But instead God says ‘just let it ride…’

I often wish I had a snappy comeback. 

But it’s just better to shut my yak trak.

Stay calm, remember you’ve been around the block. 

Take a step back and take stock.

Quiet strength is from relying upon our ROCK. 

Jesus calls us to give an apt reply – just listen for His Knock.

Minding your P’s and Q’s is quite fine,

But listening to the Lord? Now that’s Divine!!!
