I don’t know how the Lord did it, but ONCE AGAIN, He processed me through a day FULL with many OVERLAPPING activities that I didn’t know how it would all fall in place. Well, they did. He did. And I even had extra time. Weird. Wonder. Weird. Wow. Not that strange a set of circumstance, sure, so even less a problem for the Lord to lead. But I couldn’t see it. (He could.)

There’s a song with the lyrics that essentially says ‘I am lost exactly where I should be’. Yup. It actually says: “maybe aimless, maybe lost, right where I need to be”… Yup…

May I always have days that He pieces together, even if it’s just in the timing… May I start with Him first. 

If I’m lost – may I look for the Lord.

If I’m confused – how about I ask the Lord. 

If I just don’t know – let me pray to remember that the Lord knows. 

If I boast, let me boast in the Lord. 

The Lord is wise.

The Lord is strong. 

The Lord is rich.

The Lord is kind.

The Lord is just. 

The Lord has righteousness. 

I don’t have own any of these attributes except to understand (and may I always understand) that being lost in the moment brings the hope and hammering out of life, which comes from the Lord. 

The Lord IS.

We delight in His Insight.

This is what the Lord says: “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 9:23-24
