Out with the old,
In with the new
A life filled with stuff breaks,
But maybe just the fuse blew.
.
Don’t throw away what can be repaired.
Don’t replace it if the fix is dared.
Never judge anything or anyone for broken parts,
Only what is doable and heal-able about their hearts.
.
Time softens and yields,
Ignorance forever seals,
Life yearns and squeals,
And Savior Jesus heals.
.
The ultimate price Jesus paid.
Not a soul now that can’t be saved.
Pouring healing blood, then rising from where He laid.
FREEDOM from death, we WALK the road Jesus paved.
.
Accept forgiveness, ask for it too.
Repair, restore, and be made ANEW.
Death no longer a compromise,
Walk through the shadows, run, and pray to see the Son Rise.
.
Amen
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Paul to the Corinthians 2:17-21
