Processing Places Praises Prayers and People

Standard

Perhaps you have noticed, that particular people process a situation for themselves and often will process YOUR situation (or situations whether they be family or work or events or whatevers) – in THEIR particular personal mindset. Perhaps you don’t even have to mention your feelings and they feel for you – or lose sleep for you – or try to fix things for you – or don’t bring up the “thing” because they don’t want to open a can of worms – but even a can of worms is doing it’s own “thing” by trying to process the path up and out – somewhere other than stuck in the can.

People will process for you – even if they process in their mentality not yours – well – that is true and we all do it!!!  Even the “magic eye” puzzles (pictured is one of roses that are supposed to make a magic heart but none of us could see it!) are tough in someone else’s eyes – you really have to see it yourself – and someone can explain it – but like life’s circumstances, you just have to go through it yourself…

How about prayer? We have the immense power of prayer – we have the immense requirement of praise – we have the blessed opportunity to let the Lord help us in HIS Way. We process with prayer – as in “Lord help me”. We process in certain places – like pondering at bedtime or morning – ponder while sitting in special chairs or library corners or train rides – maybe we need a change of scenery (thus special trips or Sunday drives help) – maybe we just need to slow down and “just be” in our own situation – and quiet our can of worms or put them in the fridge for later.

God can see through our problems and He can see the solution even before we can. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28

If we take the time to walk slower and let the Lord lead us the easier route – or at least the more sure one… We must adapt and process that He can find the Way ahead of us – and not divert in being distracted (which we usually are). And yet He can bring us back – He not only processes for us – He plans for us and He will gets us where He needs us to be.

Mostly, He wants us to know that we are not alone – that He is with us – ALWAYS….

This is the greatest praise – to love Him and know Him – and depend upon Him. May we always process that!

Amen

Jesus can see the storm – even the wind and the waves obey Him – Luke 8:22-25 One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”
