Lost and Found

Standard

There are many things that I’ve lost over the years, but I really wanted to find this little piece of cloth, an embroidered saying I made probably 30 or 35 years ago… and I found it after cleaning and cleaning and cleaning… “Of All the Things I’ve Lost, I Miss My Mind the Most”… yeah…

Yeah, because I agree in that laughing at myself in a frame of mind, and just realizing that we are pulled in so many directions and it often feels like we’ve lost our mind… I laugh but I keep going…

And our laugh at the saying, because of everything that we’ve lost in material goods was just temporary…

I do know and cry with the concern of what we’ve lost in our loved ones… prayerfully we will see them again… and recently sorting out my family farmhouse, I have found more and more spiritual and religious items, which makes me joyful that I hope someday I will meet the great grandparents whom I never met…

But if everything I’ve ever lost, even if I won’t recover them, let me remember that HOWEVER let us always remember that the Lord will NOT lose us. Jesus cannot lose us!!!

AMEN

JOHN 8:31-36

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

John 10:27-28 KJV

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
