Efficient Sufficient Proficient Magnificent SIGNIFICANT – EVIDENT – God is amazing and we can be RELIANT upon Him.
During our recent camping trip, the amazing growth of one of our girl scouts was so evident – a wonder and amazement – really a miracle in God’s many miracles every day – and in some HUGE ways… How better to show faith than to trust God and praise God and rely on God.
She was born with issues – from liver issues – so sick for years and her family was on the search for a living liver donor – but her condition was so grave that she was upgraded on the donor list and at a tender age of 4, she got a life saving liver transplant – wow – searching and searching our prayers while God provided one – and then one day before leaving the hospital, the liver failed – actually liver transplant replacements usually fail from the connections of the blood vessels to the recipient from the stress of transplant. And another liver was available – she thrived – not without issues – and forever on anti-rejection medicine and dealing with common issues for that – but thriving… THRIVING, STAYING-ALIVE-ING, and with more energy than ever.
Truly an example of where we know God has intervened in this topsy turvy world we live in… How else to describe the power and energy to move forward than to rely on God. He is all that we need.
In a writing from a few years ago, I wrote that God is Efficient Sufficient Proficient Magnificent and SIGNIFICANT. God is our All in All – and here is the poem I wrote those many years ago to praise Him – to say that we can proceed thru today with our faith and by our faith.

Efficient Sufficient Proficient Magnificent
What wisdom can I bring to the understanding of how God IS SIGNIFICANT?
MY EXPERIENCE that:
His Word is Efficient.
His Way Proficient.
His Works Sufficient.
His Wholeness Magnificent.
He shares succinctly to today. We can’t and won’t know enough in our own questioning, BUT we COULD be satisfied, if just for today, only through our faith.
In faith:
Wise men walked.
Wandering men wondered.
Willing hearts heard.
Wonder-filled men worshiped.
Willingly would we?
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
His Word is Efficient
“For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name. I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand — I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’” Isaiah 51:15-16
His Way is Sufficient
“Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant?Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.” Isaiah 50:10
His Works are Proficient
Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. Isaiah 53:10
His Wholeness is Magnificent.
“To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. “Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with lapis lazuli. I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones. All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.” Isaiah 54:9-13
Efficient – Sufficient – Proficient – Magnificent – SIGNIFICANT
Be Reliant Upon God
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6
