AI ALMIGHTY INFLUENCE

A friend posted a caricature of her family as Super Bowl winning Seattle Seahawks fans, is it AI generated? Or just ALGORITHMS developed by humans? We might be giving AI a bit too much credit these days, but surely Artificial Intelligence is and will influence our culture. People seemed to have stop complaining about CGI, computer graphics imagery in movies, and robotics does help us, so perhaps we need the adage of AI won’t take over your job, but people who know how to use it might…

However there is one AI, a different acronym that has been in place since before you were born, before time, AI of ALMIGHTY INFLUENCE, yes, ALMIGHTY God!!!

ALMIGHTY INFLUENCE of the Lord is already planned, active, needed, and forever. Jesus, Alpha and Omega, has come, is here Holy Spirit style, and will come again. Jesus will come against all evil influences and win. Jesus has already won over sin and death. Jesus as Lord and Savior is an Almighty Influence to tell us to “look above”, “not sweat the small stuff”, and just live. Nothing artificial about that…

As for the Super Bowl, I asked my youngest why the commercials were so under par in comparison to previous years, meaning I hardly laughed, so I’m not sure if it was a different target audience, or just “phoned in” an old school reference to doing minimum, or why??? Was it AI in graphics? But who generated the jokes? Could they instead hire some comedian writers? Apparently not but WHO KNOWS! 

Just then, for the Halftime show, the Bad Bunny Puerto Rico experience, I spied the background were live people in the trees like more than carrying props, they were inside, then the whole show was live people seemingly on display from the display of customs and the music, well, it was more of a rhythm beat and my youngest said we should do some salsa dancing, made me get off the couch… Well, I danced for sure and used a Lentilky candy box (like M&Ms but European) container as a maraca-like shaker… Both my kids laughed so hard at my unexpected energy and moves… there was no artificial in that AI, Almighty Influence, just joy in the moment. A child of God making my own children laugh.

So perhaps that’s the take home message, don’t worry about the future as God will always be with us as we look towards Him, live in the moment, be part of the mix, from the music to the trees, be both scenery and salsa dancer, music and musician, parent and child, player on the field and planter and planner of fields ahead… be where God needs us, be taken over by Almighty Influence! And pray to know the Lord more and more – and let His influence reign.

(Thank you Lord also for the 4th Quarter nap, I guess I’ll watch that game portion on replay today, LOL…)
