No Sourness in Jesus

Standard

My arm bracelet collection is giving me extra reminders today to Watch for God, He is Alpha and Omega, we (I) “can do all things through Christ.”

We are to walk in internal Joy, not sadness nor sourness. We don’t have to approach life flippantly and ignore problems, but we can step carefully through the day, looking for His Light. God knows the plan today. Let us pray and praise. We are with Him and He with us!

If we (I) don’t understand the sometimes rocky road of life, the darkness of unknown, we (I) still need to walk forward, grasping for the hand of Jesus more and more. “There’s got to be a plan, There’s got to be a plan…” repeated over and over just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz’s “follow the …” over and over… We can’t always see around the bend, or always see the blessings of the trials of the present, but know that there is an “Ah ha!” moment at some point… know there is a plan, know that the Lord walks KNOWINGLY with us. Know that we both CAN do things and we are TO do things thru Christ…  Be Jesus and see what and where we are placed…

Fear not!

I appreciated the daily devotion today from Sarah Young, That God gave us the ability to know HIM, not understanding the world, but learn and lean into Him. Show our trust in Him! Fear not! Amen!

The entry:Jesus Calling: August 13 by Sarah Young of the scriptures:

“Learn to enjoy life more. Relax, remembering that I am God with you. I crafted you with enormous capacity to know Me and enjoy My Presence. When My people wear sour faces and walk through their lives with resigned rigidity, I am displeased. When you walk through a day with childlike delight, savoring every blessing, you proclaim your trust in Me, your ever-present Shepherd. The more you focus on My Presence with you, the more fully you can enjoy life. Glorify Me through your pleasure in Me. Thus you proclaim My Presence to the watching world.

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” Matthew 1:23 ESV

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 10:10-11 ESV
