Lord, You give us rest, but we must actually take You up on the offer, hand back the steering wheel, let You drive. We do appreciate being Your children, You give us the ability to hide under Your wings. You have shown us when there is pain in the night, Joy comes in the morning. 

Each of us needs to BE STILL which allows us to focus on You, trust You. Your Spirit Lord in us will guide us.

Lord Jesus, You give rest to all weary and burdened, let us mirror Your gentleness and humility. Restore, rejuvenate and lead us. Remove the inner roadblocks that prevent us from resting in Your Presence, Lord. 

Let us take opportunities for silent reflection. Let us be led in order to lead.

Praying for all God’s people to find paths in You, we pray to be a reflection of Your Shine. We are Your soldiers, Lord, we thank You for outfitting us with Your Armor… as your disciple Paul wrote, our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, our shield of faith which can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, our helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

You Jesus are the Word, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let us Be Still and know Your everlasting PEACE.
