My dreams are so vividly detailed that as soon as I am woken up (either naturally or by this 530am cat) I realize that my human brain in awake state can not contain or process what the Lord has been processing in my mind asleep. This makes me wonder IF and HOW the Lord restrains our experiences in a broken world. How elaborate, and how we miss the depth of His inner work and inner world. Perhaps the elaborate dreams I have, often processing for healing at hyperspeeds, are but a glimpse of all the life incidents we WILL have to finish processing in our journey to Heaven. Perhaps these dream storylines of brokenness being repaired will continue in our elderly years and until our deaths and then we are on God’s timeline of processing, surely at hyperseed, for the goal of PEACE. Can you imagine PEACE as we fall into Jesus’s arms in Heaven? Peace in piecemeal for us, for our little individual postage stamp-sized debt paid by Jesus? Do we realize “Be Still and know I am God” also means BE REPAIRABLE and BE STRENGTHENED and BE WHOLE.
Restrained for God is Him handling our GENTLE healing by knowing Him GRADUALLY more and more on earth whereas He could be unleashing a crush of ultimate knowledge of Him.
Restrained for God is sending Jesus on that Rapture roadtrip to take us to His Heaven, at His APPOINTED time not just a random time which surely allows for just a few more awakenings and a whole world roundup of revival. PRAY FOR REVIVAL!
Restrained for God is also holding back His anger and punishments, especially and ultimately by having ALREADY given Jesus’s life for ours. Jesus covers us and we appear as sinless souls to God.
Restrained for God is also Him restraining the evil in the world, the calming of the calamities of chaos. He is the One who floats us, like Peter, back up to walk on water when the storms rage in our heads. He is the One who walks us thru the valley of darkness to get to the other side. He is the One who tells us He is the Beginning and the End, Alpha and Omega, so that we DON’T sweat the small stuff in between.
Restrained for God is already knowing His “work around” for believers when the evil worse is yet to come. God knows that the end times will be brutal and He will allow Satan and his power loosened for a time, only to be crushed ultimately by Jesus when Jesus returns.
Restrained for God is already winning the war but letting the remaining enemy ammunition get burnt up on the battlefield.
Restrained is God’s ability to let life roll on, evil to continue with distractions of wicked schemes that are only surface level, protecting us ultimately by letting evil burn itself out. (See 2nd Thessalonians and book of Revelation description of times to come: And now you know what is holding him [Satan’s evil antichrist] back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. means God is restraining the ultimate evil until final showdown. Restraining the complete loosening of life’s brokenness until as many sheep as possible are gathered by the Shepherd.)
RESTRAINED.
If we pray to know more, God shows us more, but does not overwhelmed us with the details.
RESTRAINED.
If our dreams reveal roads to God’s healing, then imagine how LIFE will be when He restores His Whole Kingdom?!!!!
RESTRAINED is God’s way for healing.
UNRESTRAINED IS God’s LOVE.
Be OPEN to His Love as His Love was OPENED for us.
Amen

Paul’s letter to Thessalonians (2nd, ch1:4-10, ch2)
… perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.
…
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
…
we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
