Retreat writing that had to wait until I had the peace-filled time to write… Blessed…

THE STARS!!! 27OCT

Off the grid, out of the way of intrusive light pollution, “Oh, the Stars” – I screamed thru my eyes… I screamed in my head… I screamed up… I reached down and grabbed for my phone… GONE… Nope… Facebook, texts and even faith writings had to wait…

No phone, no Subaru, no glue gun…

This camping retreat was seriously roughing it for me. No collection of stuff, no props… And at that moment not even people to whom I could speak to… at that exact star-gazing moment there was nothing…. but there was EVERYTHING… because I had time to pause and I had time of prayer and I had time for praise… I had only LOVE that I could share – and it was pulled straight UP! Thru the stars shined the LIGHT and the LOVE. Thru me the LOVE went right back out.

Oh, those stars!!!… Oh the praise!!!.. To Whom did I call out?

First I instantly and naturally wanted to send my praise to my friends, I just wanted to share this marvelous observation of brilliant stars, but I had no phone to text, hmmm…. So, to Whom could I really call out – in the very moment?

There was ONE and ONLY ONE to whom I should have called praise – so I did –  I had to call out to our Lord…

Praise worthy for only ONE – God who made those very stars – God who immersed me in those stars – God who immersed me in His LOVE.

The Lord loves us in the moment, and we LOVE the moment because of Him.

“All praise and honor are Yours”

Lord, You are so precious, and You make me want to scream Your praise. You are the ONLY ONE I should and could praise. No one else makes it clearer than You Yourself that it is You who holds us in Your hands. You hold us and keep us inside Your time plan.  I know it’s just all from You opening my eyes to see You Lord renewed in my sight. Your stars, Lord, they fill the sky shinier than diamonds. Your colors, Lord, shine on earth so brightly to call out Your splendor. Your people, Lord, Your people shine Your LOVE… Thank You Lord for all these.

Thank You, Lord, for waking me to see…

To see You in all these things….

Thank You for making me sing out Your praise back to YOU.

Lord, help me to also live Your LOVE thru me and back to YOU.

YOU are THE STARS that fills my eyes, YOU are THE SPIRIT that fills my soul.

YOU Lord are LOVE.

to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth…
