Maybe because I don’t ask long questions or perhaps God knows I can only handle simple replies, so it seems I get one word answers, sometimes, when I ask direct questions. If I pray for an answer, how could He not give one.
These words, they come as one word, and float like a BOLD block letter image of the word. Like when I asked what I should do today (Sunday), He answered: “BE”. Like when I asked about my parents He said: “LOVE”. When I asked about a family member, He said: “PRAY “. When I ask about certain people, He answers “WAIT”. When I ask about certain situations, He says “HOPE”.
Those are the actual words this morning.
It is appropriate for us to ask and it is good that God answers.
Thank God He can be a One Word God.
His One Word speaks of Jesus.
God answers thru His Spirit the ONE WORD whom we need, and whom is the Word.
Actually quite fitting, for Jesus IS the Word of God. He holds all the words and all the power. Yet even though He does not consider Himself equal to the Father, and always credits the father and asks the Father, He is the Truth of our connection to the Father – OUR FATHER. Jesus IS worthy. He IS Worthy to provide the Answer and BE the Answer. The Holy Spirit provides the understanding for us to know. God provides the Way for us to have open ears and He seeks us ALWAYS as His children.
He answers in ways we wonder. He knows in ways of the Way. I don’t always pray in listening mode, but why wouldn’t He be succinct in Truth. I don’t always pray to listen and then obey, but I should. I don’t always understand His Way, but He wouldn’t BE the Way if He didn’t KNOW the Way.
If I ask for an answer, I should PRAY to really LISTEN.
If I get an answer, I should PRAY for the WILL to OBEY.
If I just LOVE in quiet truth, I will BE.
That’s really all I should be for God, BE.
Amen and Thank You Lord, You are One Word, God You Are.
One Word in Love. One Word in Life. One Word in Jesus. A Gift of Hope, Truth, Life, Home. ALL. One in Spirit. One for Forever Peace.
Us in Him and Him in us.
For Me? I will Be.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
