Bounce Back

Bounce back. I think God was just making a point that Elisha had REALLY been a man of God when even in his death, a miraculous raising from the dead could happen. Here is the scripture:

Elisha died and was buried. Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring. Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet. 2nd Kings 13:20-21

Bounce Back!

I find when I count my blessings, I worry less. I can see where God was faithful and where He just decided to save the day (like when driving in traffic and escaping an accident, He sends angels of bumper buffers).

Just as mornings are refreshing after sleep, we bounce back into life with a fresh chance at it. It’s amazing that feeling of a Saturday or any fresh day after a tired night. And oh, the preparation is tremendous but the feeling of a vacation day is the best.

I find when I know I have made preparations, I worry less. I find when I make mental separation from being needy, I worry less. And most definitely when I place my trust in God, He comes through. Remembering this is how we should step into a new situation or an old situation with a new perspective.

Why? Why trust? Because we are to trust in God to cover us, place us, provide for us, teach us.

Why? Why God? He brought us into this world to love us and be loved. He teaches us and we learn A LOT when living on the edge of security, especially with bills, pledges of payments, over spending or just stretching seemingly thin. Or with health, or with time. That’s when, during and before issues, we should be realizing that we are dependent upon Him.

Worries in a worry nation are amplified when things are good because the evil one has his sights on chaos and disruption. Let us worry less, pray more, make preparations and yet separation from worldly needs. God knows, all we need is HIM. He encourages us to remain FAITHFUL. He is ALWAYS faithful to us.

The dead man came to life not due to anyone asking, not the man, not Elisha, and not the folks burying him. He was tossed away but God found a Way.

Let’s trust God to find a Way for us too.
