Simply Stewardship of a Saturday

Standard

Something seems so Saturday about Saturday. Simply one must steward the stewardship of Saturday as superbly as seemingly possible.

Sure there are times for seemingly stupid sort of stuff, like solving a paperwork snafu of my registration and surely super Serena, so serene, well she also shaped up the solution like the snap of her fingers. And the small sweet figurine of Jesus *Jesus Loves You* on her desk was soothing and something special, she surely set it for all to see. Spirit-saw, yes.

SO, Saturday continued with some errands, like scoping out starter plants, and shredding stuff, and picking up saucepan and skillets from someone’s shedding supply of stuff, and even settling in for some yard work.

I enjoyed some gabbing with neighbors, sweet… Stopped by another place saving money on a stand up screen tent from Facebook sales to be my sun screen of shade to stop any stinging sunburn.

Some shopping was in store too, for some savory stuff. (Seriously wash your stuff then wash your hands in sudsy stuff before consuming said shopping stuff (sauces and snacks and so on…)

So the Subaru sombered on…

Somehow Saturdays we stop any sinking ships from stalling in our space. Sometimes we simply keep showing up and we can suffice the support of someone. Sometimes Saturdays are saved for special stewardship of Saturdays…

Stopped in my special spot for sustenance. Then, I slipped over to the special sale of salad stuff at the special farm market, and walking in I was stopped super stupified in my tracks – for there was a stone, one I wrote on, especially set, one maybe two years ago, sitting now in front of the said salad stands. A couple stones actually, one with a saying I stenciled, spirit-supplied, then set said stone stashed in the corner, so someone would have it as a sign. And there it was, now, sitting for everybody to see, set prominently positioned, holding down papers that have scripture… SO special SO surprised SO not surprised that the Lord uses us for His service… AND SOMETIMES HE SHOWS US…

“FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, ABIDE THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE” and “Hope, Joy, Faith, Love, Peace” SO SPECIAL.

Stones which cry out when we stop sheepish in our praise…

SPECIAL…

How else special to spend a Saturday, but in stewardship of some precious time in service…

And let us try to be of service, to others for sure, to ourselves in sanity, in soothing, in time saving well spent, or simply snoozing. And simply steward Saturday for the Holy Spirit.

Surely, Saturday specially sets us up successfully, and so on…

SWEET…
