A friend and I had a discussion about how the Holy Spirit puts the right messages right in front of us, when I picked up a book on electronic communication, which my blog is… I took one book at that time, but/and then when I took home the REST of the leftover books home for possible distribution at a church event, these 4 BIG HEAVY books with thick covers INTRIGUED me instantly because I LOVE understanding the history of the Bible and how it got to be. My questioning of the history back 11 years ago is what pulled me in to God’s prompts to ask Him more, which gave me the moments where the Holy Spirit opened my heart and mind like in an amazing awakening …. SO, I thank the Holy Spirit working in these book donations, and I am going to pursue them and maybe use them as a prompt for writing. And I expect that I’m going to start in the Gospels then go back to the Old Testament. I call the old testament: “Jesus’s old home movies” – because Jesus wants us to be educated and intrigued and entertained too, about how HE set up HIS family history…

As for the book pile, I set the books up at my own table at the yardsale portion of an event, along with SOME excess of the modern treasures from my family farmhouse – and one woman at the very end took one book, one that I had added to the pile, one from author and singer Michael Card, whom I love and she said she loved. It was a Holy Spirit connection that I witnessed and participated in, and that was so heartwarming for me. God showed me that moment.

That’s what God does, He makes the connections and shows up to complete them.
