A Prayer for Pondering:

Lord God, You hold all things in Your hands, therefore when You stretch Your hands out to grab us, You bring us to Your Heart. Lord Jesus, You, as fully God gave Your earthly life to secure our Heavenly one. Jesus, You as fully man felt our pain to let us know that You understand. God You understood understand overcome overall. In Your Spirit we Praise.

The Psalms are “go to” prayers and praises and these (link below 11-16) from David are covering the gamut of emotions and circumstances, are also acknowledging God as God, and His Power prevailing over the wicked and over bad times eventually we shall prevail because of God Who will keep us out of hell. Presence of God or absence, I chose Presence.

Jesus IS our man in the middle WITH us in life – and ABOVE us in being God raising us to Him – and chose to go BELOW us in His humility and servitude. Jesus is BEHIND us in support – AHEAD of us in knowledge – and IN us in Spirit. 

Jesus IS our Man in the Middle, Master in the Motivation, Messiah in the Most.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

May we Praise the Lord today, and forevermore…

Psalm 16 is a blessing to know about the Lord – The Hope of the Faithful, and the Messiah’s Victory – A Michtam of David.

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.

O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance. I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
