I put my backyard umbrella away for the storm, but I got it back out, because this week is gonna be gorgeous and warm. It would be a great week for camping. Maybe I’ll just camp outside (or inside) my house, with electricity, wifi, laundry, and sleep in my own bed, yeah, camping without the hassle – could even sleep with the window open and pretend…
I have to admit that after the storms stopped, I had appreciated the rain we had over the weekend for the sake of gardens and soil and water supplies. I took the opportunity to tear out the garden weeds as it was such soft soil… It is a good feeling to have done that and now sit – and back to the computer!!! Fruitfulness is tough to gauge on a computer – but you have to work it anyway!
I keep working on opportunities and being optimistic and keep trying to be FRUITFUL like this strawberry plant which seems so out of season but it is not because it is a different variety – may we all be of this variety and fruitful all season long…
Seasons in life change and even the strawberries will go dormant in the cold – Ecclesiastes scriptures do remind us that “to everything there is a season”. And God knows what season we are in. There is a season for all things – and for God He is eternal – and we know this but we can not wrap our heads around it! “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”
So – we are seasonal – and from dust to dust – but God Himself will save us in a plan that recreates us for Him – and forever – God will change our season to sensational, with Him, in HIS Time…
“I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it.”
OK, ready to take my laptop to the park and work alfresco or simply in my backyard… It is good to have a change of scenery often and laptops afford that. Soak in THIS season.

Ecclesiastes 3 NKJV
Everything Has Its Time
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
The God-Given Task
What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
I know that whatever God does,
It shall be forever.
Nothing can be added to it,
And nothing taken from it.
God does it, that men should fear before Him.
That which is has already been,
And what is to be has already been;
And God requires an account of what is past.
