Surely, God is ALL We Need

Standard

I am eating a delicious avocado right now, ripened just long enough before it went bad – a miracle right? Because avocados are SO TEMPORARY in their goodness. Glad I caught it just right – and I am SO GRATEFUL that I got a good night sleep after an exhausting but fabulous trip to NYC – whew…

Thankfully – tiredness is helped by rest – avocados are helped by checking in on it everyday – but what about US???  Are we OK???  Well, God checks in on us – not occasionally – not only when we think of Him – God is surely with us always – and surely, God is all we need…

Let me say that again God is ALL we need…  Amen and true and also hard to remember. But God is with us always…

Right now, it is sunny and the cool of the morning – perfect humidity level and a gentle breeze = God is here and God is all I need to remind me to do other things – and He does – like eat – like sleep – like write – God is always after me for writing – that is the state of my encourager job – and surely God is all I need. He reminds me of that – He even gave me the fingers to test the avacados and the knowledge to know when to eat them – and He gave us rest – and He gave us light – and He gave us the bountiful harvest season and He even gave us the tough times so that we look to HIM for guidance and support! God even sends the people we need!

Surely, God is all we need.

Jesus said (recorded in Matthew 28:16-20 about the Great Commission) that He would always be with us – and we know (especially on this Rosh Hashana day for the Jewish calendar celebrating when God made Adam and Eve) that God made us – and before us made everything and thought of us before that even – and then God will be with us until the end of the age.

I am going to trust God today – that worked for me yesterday and surely that will work for me tomorrow. God will help us today – God will help us tomorrow – Surely we can pray and ask Him for guidance.

Surely, God is ALL we need – and everything else will fall into order…

AMEN

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
