It’s the treasure trove I didn’t know about. We all enjoy old postcards, but this stack contained the correspondence too, wow… Yes, cleaning up the family farmhouse, we opened one box, and here are a hundred postcards from 1909 to the early 20’s. Wow… The romantic images are for a cousin from a particular suitor, a couple being together, or the simple direct question on a card: “When Will I See You?”
(That’s the same question to a Savior, Jesus sees us and wants to know when we will come to Him.)
You know, the Lord asks for us. He is our Suitor suited to be the Groom for us as His bride. These cards may fade, but His Love (and He) never will!
The cards show love. The Lord? HE IS LOVE!
I’m tired from traveling, but the Lord? He never sleeps and He energizes us.
The postcards talk about the weather, and happineings. He has told us from alpha to omega how He is loving May we take His postcards seriously. He is our Suitable Suitor.
Amen
