Lord, Help Us Hope, Live, Prepare, and Share

Yum, Irish stew is so perfect for our damp rainy windy weather, thankfully we got it from Costco, LOL, no labor and all the love of the season’s hearty feels and fruitfulness. 10 minutes to stir and heat and enjoy.

Lord, help us enjoy.

I decided that my summer ending sadness had to end too, and I am now instead embracing the Autumn season, all the feels and all. I even brewed a cup of tea, nesting nestling in. Of course I also just enjoyed some summer sweetcorn, it’s good to overlap seasonal delights. There’s lots of loving of the fall. Focus on this season before it too is gone.

Lord help us focus.

Yesterday I felt the let down of the hype, it is a real storm sure, but I don’t know, I was more dark in mood than the sky, then I started to embrace the chance to be inside and look for inside blessings. I dug under the piles of accumulation and got to my sewing table, it felt good and feels good to get back here (SO FAR, LOL), and now I hope in new projects.

Lord, help us hope.

The rain reminded me to be thankful for the laundry room roof I had redone in the spring, it is safe secure and not dripping water inside. It’s fixed, was worth using all my tax return then to get it done. The rain reminded me of my gratefulness for mowing the lawn the day before, even if the forsythia wants to bloom, we need to prepare for winter. I was tucking away chairs and loose plant containers and being proactively ready. I was and am ready for THIS season of my life best I can be.

Lord help us prepare.

And I am grateful for a “Pumpkin Spice and Jesus Christ” coloring book I found on ebay, this will be a good set up for a church table of a prayer request box, rock coloring, and free children’s bible story book giveaway and coloring, that I will host at next week’s community event (it’s 2-5, after my delayed rummage sale date 8-2, just works out whew…) And the coloring pages are precious: “Let your LIGHT shine” – “Leaves are Falling – Jesus is Calling”…

Lord help us share!

My how one page spoke to me: “How beautiful it is to let things go”… I love that one picture especially with Isaiah 43:18 scripture: “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old...” Yes, we need to let things go…

Lord help us look for your fresh new adventures and blessings.

Lord, help us “Let it go!!”

These blessings are in looking to the Lord, for the Lord, being at peace in His presence, in His Joy, in His Hope, in His preparation, in His Sharing, in His finishing.

Lord help us see You in all…

Amen

Isaiah 43:10-19 NKJV “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the Lord, “that I am God. Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?”Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “For your sake I will send to Babylon, And bring them all down as fugitives – the Chaldeans, who rejoice in their ships. I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters, Who brings forth the chariot and horse, The army and the power (They shall lie down together, they shall not rise; They are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick): “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
