These were a start of song lyrics in my head when I woke up, so I wrote more…
Then I Called and Jesus Came
And He stayed with me, when I was stuck in all my rain.
I denied Him, but He loved me all the same.
He held me thru frustrations, oh my pain.
Then I Called and Jesus Came
How I sin and yet He loves me just the same.
I’m blessed with Him, I need nothing more to gain.
He’s been thru death, yet He lives just the same.
Then I Called and Jesus Came
He’s the King and Forever He does reign.
He’s the Lamb once slaughtered for all my shame.
Jesus forever loves, He gives me a new name.
Then I Called and Jesus Came
He is Almighty I am plain.
He is healing when I am lame.
He holds me at bay from my pain.
He is humble when I am vain.
His loves washes me clean from sin’s stain.
I am saved when I had no claim.
He separates me from chaff, I am His grain.
He will burn forever in Spirit Flame.
Changed forever, it is Jesus I exclaim.
