I really appreciate driving a shorter 3hr distance to my next set of cousins on my “cousins world tour “. These cousins live on the southern coast, not far from the beach. The sunset was amazing, the pool was soothing, and the conversation was enlightening. See you need to sit with people often to catch up.

See, on this trip I have really witnessed and experienced that you actually have to visit people to hear ALL the news. And trust me that we lose touch so easily with even our closest cousins…

Yes, our closed connections, whether it be with cousins or community are crucial, even fun. The community in this neighborhood had a pool party for Father’s Day. And you could tell that the community enjoyed being together. We floated in the pool, and you could just feel the joy in the chit-chat that rose above the water.

And we were having some of our own chit-chat later in the evening, when we were interrupted by something even more beautiful, it was an overwhelming amazing sunset, even startled us. I said that God makes even a sunset more beautiful than we could ever imagine for things made on earth.

And if we listen to the closeness of God, we will hear His Plan more, for our lives, for answered prayers, for next steps. Stay in His shadow…

And when we stay in communication with our Creator, we will see how creation and the creatures and the crazy goodness are compelled to be in God’s plan and grace. 

Oh, the place and pace of God’s Grace… Let us connect with God and each other in God’s way, and keep the connections strong.
