Covid Flower Tribute – #1030

A friend mentioned that their life-long friend had passed of covid – and just after I saw this story of a Swedish artist who made metal flowers to place in a field – he was using this as a way to wrap his mind around the numbers so they weren’t just numbers.

What I appreciated was what the artist said at the end – that he wanted each person to have the place where they felt respect.

We are always talking numbers – so when we have a memory of a person we become the mental planter of that flower using our love, which comes from the Lord… sometimes if someone passed that I knew, that next spring I would think of them when planting my flower beds…

Scriptures tell us of how flowers fade. Scripture also tells us that the Word of the Lord endures forever – therefore we are to love fervently – and that love will last forever… If we love and share love – then we are actually planting and cultivating that person INTO the Love and Word of God – and hopefully they bloomed in love too – whether they knew the Lord or not they were planted in love that originated from Him. He then could water that field of their souls…

Love is eternal and that loved one is never gone from the love that permeates the world – just the soul is relocated home – closer to the Source…

Peace and keep planting…

PS – Be Unto Your Name

1st Peter 1:22-25

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
