God is IN CONTROL, 29JAN

Standard

Compare how God sees a snowstorm and how we see it or don’t. While we are either freaking out or loving it or oblivious to the large scale of it (remember no generation before ours could see satellite images of snowstorms), God is IN CONTROL.

When we are looking at the 0 to 60 inch uncertainty or the dead-on prediction of inches and form granular or puff-powder, GOD is IN CONTROL. God has set up the whole intricate geometry for each and every unique snowflake with no two the same. God holds the snow in His Warehouse of Wonder. He can give them individual attention AND bulk directions to fall on the just and the unjust. Snow is fancy ice and snow is water reimagined. Snow is pure as white and yet formed from using a speck of dust to begin crystallization. Snow is white even though the ice is clear. Snowflakes have symmetry, order, purposes unknown.

If Snowflakes so beautiful are formed AROUND the dust particles, imagine what God can do WITH the dust particles, namely us. We are formed from His Dust. Whether you look from outer space or look at snow from an intricate place, God is IN CONTROL.  Whether you get excited at the first flake or irate at the foot of them, God is IN CONTROL. Whether the flakes are held in Warehouses of Wonder or whisked out in wallops of white, God is IN CONTROL.

The MIRACLE of moments like these is they are GOD MOMENTS with attention to detail so exquisite and personal to the snowflake, but anonymous to the uninformed. Every moment you can ask God to reveal some detail, He may show you or melt it away. If you can’t see God in control, at least try to feel it. Know by faith, Snow by sight.

IN CONTROL, that’s what we need to remember. Go with the SNOW FLOW.

GOD is GOD.

His Purpose is Greater than our purpose, that’s what we need to remember.

GOD IS IN CONTROL!

AMEN

——-

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Isaiah 55:8-11
