It’s tough to focus sometimes. These past 2 weeks was me NOT focusing on this BIG report that I am writing… Well, BIG mentally but it also needs to be short to be succinct, but be packed to be complete. I’m finally getting to it, bit by bit. I prayed for the Lord to ReBALANCE my time. I want it DONE to move forward. But He is giving me small scrapes forward towards done, but I’ll take it. I now see this window of opportunity to write, but oh it is like not the speed I want, but I have hope, I do see the tunnel at least and then will see the end, soon. I will finish one then put it away, with 2 more like it to do…. So, I thank the Lord for needed time, for focus, non-interruptions, especially by myself, and protection for my stretches of time, without ignoring everything else. It’s a BALANCE.
I could work at home some, plus in the office some, but being outside at work this week is a really good compromise for me – warmer than an office for sure – natural light – natural sounds – acorns dropping – summer bugs serenading and ladybugs looking cute – and today especially: A BREEZE. A sweet breeze coming from temperature and air currents that are moving without disruptive flows. It’s a BALANCE.
I didn’t kill the lantern fly, just didn’t feel like me ReBALANCING nature this day. Let live to chew another day. It’s a BALANCE.
A breeze cleared the bad biting bugs, a breeze made the tree rustling louder than the traffic, it cooled the air, moved the old day away. And these breezes today were working hard to move me out of my mental blocks and move out the worldliness of the world, move me on to good stuff in my head instead… To say it mildly: don’t let work distract you from work, don’t let the world distract you from doing your part in the world. Don’t forget to see ladybugs. Be Heaven aware in the world and world aware too. It’s a BALANCE.
It’s also the necessity of focus to forget “what others think” – and get down to business. That’s true for the Lord’s work too, He is our focus to best move thru this world, all while keeping in the world. It’s a BALANCE.
God needs us here, in this time. Isaiah was a prophet for his time. He could have let his job go, could have run, but he accepted and said “Here I am, Lord.” He then spoke of warnings and of hope to the people distracted by the broken kingdom. He presented to them, the Lord’s options: obedience begets hope, freedom begets folly, it’s a BALANCE.
I am grateful that the Lord allows us breezes, and freedom, direction and downtime. I want my thoughts of Him above all other things, and if I don’t, I pray He takes me along on His Breeze.
Attitude triumphs situations. And I set down my head and will set down my pen for the night, I vegetate my mind on mental fluff for a little bit, then get rest, and start again tomorrow. It is a BALANCE, with a breeze, and a blessing to begin again.
Amen and Amen (Thank You Lord for a balance to my day.)

Isaiah 1:18-20 The ReBALANCE by God, spoken to Isaiah:
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
