Net Your Strawberries and Guard Your Heart
Was it worth 20 minutes extra drive and $6 of netting to protect $5 worth of strawberries from the birds? Tasting the taste of today – YES!
These are precious moments remembering garden toiling for 2 plus years, even if for only 2 weeks of taste. I had to save what I started. And now that tis the season of strawberries, I have to physically take the time to harvest them too.
Unbelievable! I need to guard my strawberries from those hungry birds…. blocking some strawberries is not depriving the birds of life-giving food, as they feast plenty-fine at the neighbor’s feeders, so protecting my crop for me seems appropriate.
God protects His crop too.
God nets His flock.
God goes after His heart, which is all of us.

We all need to guard our hearts, as everything we do flows from our hearts.
We all need to balance.
We all need to serve while keeping sacred Whom we ultimately serve.
We need to build strength reserve so that we can serve. Perpetuate peace.
Protect what we hold in our hearts, all while giving our all.
The sweetest outcome for the Lord is to build peace, and see the fruits of His labor from His long planned devotion to His mission: net all of us so we come home. Home Sweet Home.
