Love Wins More than My $40 Loses… 14APR – #1130

After yesterday’s post, about losing $40, I thought for 2 minutes more I will look near the other building where I might have lost that $40 and even I knew it was fruitless and yet I said sincerely “is there anything you can show me Lord?” both in questioning and in needing the motivation to move on from this futile search. Guess what instantly I saw – my rock that I painted and placed one year ago and is STILL there…  Yes, that’s a message once again: LOVE WINS!! Focus on LOVE… and isn’t that a better use of our time…

I just know that I am not making up crazy thoughts of God – as the scriptures do say “God knows every hair on our heads” – He does…  Two scriptures I re-heard today fit this – that God hears everything – God hears all our prayers – even ones we don’t think are worth saying to Him…

1John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Revelation 7:14, 17; 8:1-5
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. … … For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’  ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”   When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

PS. just now I remember seeing a terrible accident on the turnpike this morning and the people seemed OK but the car was flipped and crushed and wow…  I teared up thinking that is love and that is God’s mercy… I don’t know how they survived that crash but they did… LOVE WINS!!!
