You are allowed to wait – actually you are recommended to wait and see what God has in store for you – better yet use up what He has ALREADY blessed you with – within your stockpiles of His LOVE.
I was in a store this morning and they had only one of this and one of that (bribe snacks for our car ride) and I had to say thank you God for perfect provisions of what He felt was just enough for me at this time. Not too much, but enough. I’m blessed. Whew.
Honestly? God has SPOILED US BLESSED!!! He takes care of more than we can even imagine! Jesus Himself holds all the world together – every atom – every force – everything – every blessing.
And I have to wait on the Lord for so many things going on in my life which also means I have to wait for what He wants me to do for me and for others and for doing with others. As always I pray that I am to listen to His timing. It’s not supposed to be a me me me world, it’s sometimes like a they they they situation. It’s more that you you you KNOW that He is meeting you where you are. God is also not intending you to forge ahead without Him to a place where you THINK you have already solved all the world’s problems that affect you. Isn’t it true that the Lord most powerfully comes to us STRONGER than we could go to Him?
It’s not me me me, they they they, you you you, but Him Him Him.
Does God call us by any other name than “My child”? Does He hold us by our own strength or His? Does God meet us where we are? Sometimes waiting for us, but YES meeting us where we are.
Is it OK to wait? It is OK for us to wait because Jesus is right with us. We won’t lack in ANYTHING if we remain in Him.
Him Him Him
Jesus said: (John 4-11)
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete….
