It’s OK to Give IN, 11JUN – #1181

It’s an interesting fact of life that life ends in death. It’s an interesting fact of death that the Lord has established a new Kingdom for you to enter. When you pass, your body gives out, AND your Spirit gives IN.

It’s not just that you earthly worry about your loved ones left behind, you spiritually care about them too. Transferring peace in to them. Whether you are young and robust and on this earth years more or failing in health, your Spirit has to GIVE IN to the truth that the Lord will take care of them as much (actually MORE) than even you could. You have to give IN to your trust IN the Lord.  You have to give it to the Lord IN life, so of course,  when the time comes, IN death too.

A dear friend passed a couple years ago after her whole family finally left her side. Those of us who know her, know she would have fought death (which came as result of a diabetic situation at too young an age). She would have fought back against death, for her great desire for taking care of her people. He gave her Spirit the transition time and gave that mental transition time to her loved ones as well during those couple weeks in between. Jesus surely said to her, “I’ve got them”, and she then let go. She gave IN to Jesus.

To give IN is INTO the Kingdom. To give out is normal and human. Some may say “Peace Out” as a salutation, yet day to day, EVERYDAY, we are to give IN to Jesus as founder and keeper and giver of our peace.

Peace IN…

Jesus said to the disciples AND US: “Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am IN my Father, and you are IN me, and I am IN you.  Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:19-22
