The God of all comfort, comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort each other with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
I thanked the gathered friends and family at my Dad’s memorial for the LOVE all had all shared – so tremendous. Praying is the MOST important “thing” to make a difference. BECAUSE OF everyone’s prayers, I was able to see the Holy Spirit move. The last words I heard my Dad say were on the day before he passed. I told him that I loved him and that so very many were praying for him, and he said “THANK YOU”, surely moved by the Spirit he said “THANK YOU”.
A scripture from Romans 8: 16-18
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Surely moved by the Spirit, people prayed and he said “THANK YOU”.
I thank the Lord thru His Spirit for His care for my Dad and for all of us – then, now and forever.
