I don’t know why God took over my brain but ideas just form in my brain like clouds, yes clouds… get enough moisture together and precipitation happens…
Clouds of Faith, 17Jul
We think of the clouds in the sky when we think of our loved ones who’ve gone to heaven…
We also think about Jesus riding in on a cloud when He comes back to Earth…
We watched clouds as children imagining shapes, we still do, we are still children. And we need to become more childlike in God-wonder.
God says there is no way we can know or comprehend all His ways… So I wonder: where does He store all those clouds?
Clouds are puffy, clouds are wispy, clouds can be dark and ominous, high up and in low foggy zones… Clouds can just show up – both in relief to scorching hot Sun – and in disappointment for a sunny carnival about to get rained out… Clouds happen…
We know we need the rain, we need the precipitation… we need the rainy days to get our thoughts together… so we need clouds… both physical and spiritual clouds…
We need to gather and form faith clouds, yes, we as people, children of God, are actually pulled together by the HOLY SPIRIT to form faith bonds with others… Sometimes cloud molecules are stretched far apart and sometimes they are condensed in a tight bonds… that is true with us too… we drift and we return, hopefully to connect… we create faith clouds…
Jesus said: 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Yes, sometimes our faith molecules – meaning God’s children – are stretched far apart and sometimes they are condensed in a tight bonds… tightened, gathered, grouped, grounded clouds of faith.
Clouds happen when the weather is just right… water molecules are gathered from the ground and evaporated up, the enormity of water weight we can not even begin to comprehend and yet these clouds float…
Our faith collectives do the same – children of faith are collected – gathering with faith brothers and sisters will lighten the situation of the darkest doom… The problems of life we can not begin to comprehend and yet faith floats us thru it… where 2 or 3 gather? Watch Jesus pull together your personal faith cloud. He will.
Where does God keep all those clouds? Right here all the time… us too, we are made of God’s molecules waiting to be pulled together… we don’t always see the Holy spirit but when we are pushed, prodded, pulled and pooled TOGETHER, when we are spiritually moved together, we will then become an opportunity for Him to precipitate the faith… we are His people – we are held in his storehouses so that He can pull together His faith movers and shakers.
Clouds happen. Faith fulfills. Faith lifts a situation.
Be still and watch for God…
Be the lift in someone else’s cloud today, lift them with their own faith, lift them with your collective faith – TOGETHER.
He wraps up the waters in his clouds,
yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
He covers the face of the full moon, spreading his clouds over it.
He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters for a boundary between light and darkness.
God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways;
he does great things beyond our understanding.
6 He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’
and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’
7 So that everyone he has made may know his work,
he stops all people from their labor.
8 The animals take cover;
they remain in their dens.
9 The tempest comes out from its chamber,
the cold from the driving winds.
10 The breath of God produces ice,
and the broad waters become frozen.
11 He loads the clouds with moisture;
he scatters his lightning through them.
12 At his direction they swirl around
over the face of the whole earth
to do whatever he commands them.
13 He brings the clouds to punish people,
or to water his earth and show his love.
14 “Listen to this, Job;
stop and consider God’s wonders.
15 Do you know how God controls the clouds
and makes his lightning flash?
16 Do you know how the clouds hang poised,
those wonders of him who has perfect knowledge?
