Give it ALL back – Give it all FORWARD to God, 15Aug

Instead of giving SOME back to God – just give it ALL back – actually give it all FORWARD to God.

“Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.”  (Proverbs)

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act.
Do not say to your neighbor,
“Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—
when you already have it with you.” (Proverbs)

Jesus commands us to give everything to God – that means EVERYTHING – that means the good and the bad –  the pain and the praise – we are not to think too highly of ourselves for achievements – we are not to get too down on ourselves for failures – the good and the bad and the uneasiness in between, give it all to God – and give God the credit for being able to wake up each day – therefore, each day give the fruits of your labor FORWARD to His credit and His plan…

Give Caesar what is Caesar’s – but to God give what is His – we are His!!! Let us give ourselves to Him!

We ask you Lord to help us remain thankful that we are fruitful – as always thank you for keeping us in Your plan!

3 Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words.14 They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not? 15 Should we pay or shouldn’t we?”

But Jesus knew their hypocrisy. “Why are you trying to trap me?” he asked. “Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.” 16 They brought the coin, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

“Caesar’s,” they replied.

17 Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.”

And they were amazed at him.
